Solo Walks

All walks are conducted individually, one dog at a time.

This approach allows each session to be carefully structured around the dog’s behaviour, temperament, and needs. It removes the unpredictability of group environments and allows for calm, controlled handling throughout the walk.

Rather than managing several dogs at once, my focus remains entirely on the dog in front of me.

A More Structured Approach to Walking

A walk should provide more than just physical exercise to tire out a dog.

Depending on the dog, a solo walking session may focus on:

• Structured walking and engagement
• Calm exploration of the environment
• Reinforcing good behaviour on lead
• Controlled exposure to surroundings
• Play and fulfilment of dogs specific needs

This creates a more balanced outcome than simply trying to exhaust a dog through uncontrolled activity.

Assessment

All new dogs begin with an Initial Assessment Walk to ensure the service is suited to the dog, to establish handling routines and for me to get a feel for the individual dog. This assessment will involve meeting the owner and the dog at their residence, all of us going for a 10-15 minute walk together and discussing all relevant information.

Initial Assessment Walk: Free

Every dog’s first solo walk with be charged at £25, with the chosen regular walk option starting after this.

Solo Walk Rates

One-Off Walk: £25

1 Walk Per Week: £24

2 Walks Per Week: £46 ( £23 per walk)

3 Walks Per Week: £62 (£21 per walk)

All regular bookings are prepaid in advance to secure ongoing time slots.
